Affiliate Disclosure
I am in the Amazon Affiliate Program and it’s great because I can recommend products that I love, your price remains the same whether you use my link or not, I receive a small commission, and it uses a one-stop time saver for teachers, Amazon.
My Endorsements
Personally Used & Loved
About 95% of the time I endorse products, services, and merchants that I have personally used/tested and consider of the highest quality. These include Studio 49, West Music, Sonor, Peripole, School Specialty, Best Music Stuff, Yamaha, and so many more.
A Similar Model In the Product Line
Most of the time, I’ve personally used the product but sometimes that model isn’t available anymore. An example of similar is my class piano. I LOVED my Yamaha P-115 which can be hard to find so I also recommend the P-125 which is very similar. (weighted keys, sustain pedal, portable)
Teacher Recommended
Sometimes I recommend products that are highly recommended by other teachers and I always add in the description, “I haven’t personally used this product but it’s highly recommended by other teachers.” Searching and researching takes HOURS of music teacher’s time and so I think pulling this information for teachers is valuable and why I include it.
My Promise to You
My editorial content, including the advice I provide for educational purposes and the opinion I express on products, services and merchants is not influenced in any way by advertisers or affiliate partnerships. The integrity of my content is in no way compromised by such financial relationships. Even if Suzuki gave me a million dollars, I’m not going to recommend their xylophones over Studio 49, Sonor, and Peripole. Those are big purchases but I’d do the same for smaller ones as well.
Your Decision-Making
It remains solely your personal responsibility to conduct your own investigation to determine whether to purchase an affiliate product or service.
Do not rely solely on any recommendation, reference, or information provided by me. I cannot be held liable or responsible for any damages resulting from your purchase or use of materials digital and concrete. A digital example might be a YouTube video or song and a concrete example could be books or posters. These might be fine for one school but have something your school community would find inappropriate. I vet most everything (or tell you if it hasn’t been fully vetted) but it’s still up to you to make the final decision.
